Instant messengers has mark a before and after in many people life. Before, in order to receive information about friends or relatives one should wait hours to receive a response to an email. However, now with just coordinating the time, both can make a written conversation in real time.
Nowadays, it should be noted that among the great number of instant messengers that exists nowadays, for any user type, some are very efficient and others with really bad results.
From time to time, when it seems to be all said and that there are not much more to do, there is always an innovation, or a new messenger which offers best results than those that already exists.

aMSN is considered one of the best instant messaging nowadays. Not in vain it has that honour since it has many functions and options which allow making the difference from other applications which offer similar characteristics.
As well as other messengers, this is published under MSN protocol, offering a GPL license (General Public License), which little after would incorporate different advantages provided by users.
Although messengers that were famous at that time only allow having access to their services through a determined email server (if one did not have that system, it was not possible to enter), aMSN has the possibility of reducing this differences.
The lack of those bothering ads, the change of entering alarms, the authorization to start multiple accounts, and many more things, make aMSN an excellent program.
As well as any other messenger, you should have a user and password to log in. Once logged in, you should add contacts and visualize its condition: you can chat with them if they are online.
The program was specially designed for Linux, and it was never thought that it would have such success in Windows operating systems.

In 1996, four young boys move a step forward on instant messaging as a computer level, developing the first application known as Instant Messenger for an operating system different to UNIX/Linux.
Yair Goldfinger, Arik Vardi, Sefi Vigiser, and Ammon Developer a system which six months later, would have over a million and one half active users, which would be increasing even more up to 10 millions in one and half year after its launch on the Web. In this way, an instant messenger for an operating system different to UNIX/LINUX would be born.
Alter that, in 2001 Fave Musfed enterprise created a program called Compu’s Messenger CcMsn which did not have any success. When the project was about to be forgotten, one of the programmers and developers, Alvaro Iradier, took over the running of it and a year later he launched the first aMSN version.
As time went through, many people have joined the team in order to improve its functions and launch new versions of this messenger.

aMSN Plus!
This plugin adds text commands to the instant messenger, in order to get different format effects (colour, size, style, etc). In order to achieve this, it should have different scripts.
GNotify
It is an excellent tool for check and validate email accounts from Gmail. In this way it can be freely used from a MSN.
Desktop Integration
Added element which has a function which shows you contact icons in the “Desktop”. So it is easier working with them. By activating this option on a person, you can see his or her availability condition, information, if he or she has started chat with you, etc.
