Adobe After Effects is an excellent program devoted to the especial effects creation as a complement of visual animated sequences or films.
The possibilities that this application has are virtually infinite because the user can mix sounds, images, three-dimensional elements and texts in a video, as well as using the elements it has and add certain animation characteristics to it, within the possible varieties.
As a member of the design clan in Adobe family, Adobe After Effects adds the option of establishing multiple layers when applying special effects, facilitating the task of managing and arranging components used during the material performance.
As it is an Adobe product, it is easier integrated with other programs Adobe Premiere Pro , Adobe Illustrator , Adobe Encore y Adobe Photoshop .

Adobe After Effects was born in Providence, Rhode Island (EE.UU.), in January 1993 by the hand of Company of Science and Art - COSA.
COSA was brought by the company ALDUS in July 1993. ALDUS had previously developed (in 1985) a product designed for the business text printing and mass produce market called PageMaker, with revolutionary advances within its category.
Aldus was acquired by Adobe Systems Inc. in 1994, together with the currently called Adobe After Effects y Adobe PageMaker.
The first versions of this application were developed entirely for MAC Operating System. Only from 3.1 versions it began to be launched to the market Windows editions.
Although Adobe After Effects had great improvements during its development in hand of the first two companies, as you can see here, Adobe introduced more professional aspects that ended giving it the referent place of its genre: post-production tools.
Adobe After Effects has improved a lot during its versions, developing new tools and improving the invisible process for users, but evident when processing material and observing the final result.

- Masks
You can apply endless quantity of masks, apart from deciding which part of a layer in three-dimension or two-dimension will be visible to add and animate masks that you wish to add.
- Colour and shade correction
You can adjust the colour, channel, shade, Light, colour balance, brightness, and contrast variables, as if you were using tools of Adobe Photoshop CS2.
- High quality sound
It supports 32-bit audio and capacity for importing sound files previously edited and optimized with Adobe Audition.
- Network Processing
Now you can have network computers to finish the video making process ( rendering ) (Only for Professional ) edition.
- Export to Flash
Once you have finished the projects, it can be exported to the native video format of Flash (FLV) and have complex audiovisual clips and especial effects for text and animations.
- Standard Syntax
You can chose using Standard JavaScript for editing some functions of After Effects or creating them from the beginning.

- Yes, with the integrated tools in Adobe After Effects.
- Is it necessary to have the other Adobe programs?
- No, it is not necessary, but it is advisable if you wish to sae time in chats, exports and material edition.
- Why After Effects does not use my whole RAM memory in Windows XP?
- Windows XP does not allow that 32-bits applications have access to more than 4 GB of RAM.
