Avast! Antivirus is a powerfull tool which allows users to protect themselves from tose malicious softwares that try to enter the computer and damege, in part, the system.
The program works with powerful filters which analize each file transferred from the Internet. Sometimes, the data transference is not only while working with a P2P client, packs are downloaded constantly for receiving and sending data.
Avast! Antivirus has many advantages which establish a clear difference with other antivirus which act less frequently.
When protecting them, the program has a large list where it saves IT virus launched to the Web and the way of entering to the PC they have. In that way, it detects those infected files and automatically prevents its entry.
Although there are different IT virus, Avast! Antivirus offers efficent protection againsany type of viris, like: Trojan, Internet Warms, Spyware, Spy Programs, Keylogger, and all the versions that can be mentioned.
Altough this antivirus can work with all the standard settings achieven excellent quality results, users with more advanced knowledge can personalize their settings and determine authorizations for different applications, Web sites, proceses and all they think to be necessary. Of course, you should bear in mind that if you enable certain contents, you run extra risks that would be complete responsability of the person.
Among the extense antivirus list which are all around the IT world, Avast Antivirus is considered as one of the better one and most complete.

Obviously, to talk about the antivirus history itself, we should mention what give birth to antivirus like programs which protects the system. Which is firt the illness or the cure? Well, on this basis we will talk about some brief history on IT virus.
One of the first releases ot the maliciuos codes, like informatic virus was in 1972 and created by Robert Thomas Morris. This code could infect a IBM 360 computer, showing a sign with the following phrase: "I'm a creeper... catch me if you can!â In order to solve this problem Reaper was created which allowed dettecting and stopping every destructive process that can put the system at risk.
