Counter-Strike is a modification (or MOD) of the online game system Half-Life, that has become one of the greatest communities around the world. Counter-Strike is a classic first-person shooter video game with a high graphic and texture quality, as well as sound effects and realism it offers. There are 2 opposing sides against one another in the fiction of this program round-base: Terrorists and Counter-terrorists. Each mission contains its own weapons, objectives and equipment. Also, each group has specific units, with different skills and tasks from the rest, which offers greater enjoyment to Counter-Strike.
This application accepts 2 game modes: individual or network playing. Individual is when the user uses a character and leave the PC the rest of units. Network mod covers both local networks and Internet server’s use. Here is where the real enjoyment.
You can select “hostage release”, “bomb activation/deactivation”, “murder”, and “escape”. On the first terrorist mod you should place a bomb in one of the established sites to that end. On the contrary, the counter-terrorist side should avoid this from happening by any possible mediums. In “murder” mod, terrorist should eliminate a VIP person. Counter-terrorist force should protect the main character life. This person is a random counter-strike who cannot buy weapons nor pick them up from the floor. He can only buy tactical shields.
Finally, in “escape” mod terrorists should run away from a place through certain path and the counter-terrorist team should stop the escape. It is a very dynamic game mod in which it is at last the chance of "good boys" attacking.

Shooting games in first person has created a very addictive entertainment, maybe because it is easier to get familiar with basic movements: just put the sight on a gun and shoot the opponent but what characterized a FPS is the fast learning curve at the beginning and the variety of opponents with different abilities and ways of playing. Many communities are created in the entire planet to form stable clans or teams and it is there where friendship and rivalry are meet, always for having fun and enjoy the moment.
Although some professionals do not agree on the harmful or healthful of participating in this type of entertaining, the secure thing is that there always be people that agree and those who does not agree on ways that simulates armed combats, both form the old DOOM o Maze Wars or the current version known as Counter-Strike.

- Game modes : there are 5 different modes. Fights with knives, with sniper rifle in very huge maps, “VIP” person escort, hostage rescue and destruction through explosive on an specific place of the map.

- Knife Mod: Added element which allows modifying the knife which is the game default.
- SuperheroMod: Change the game mode so if you eliminate an enemy you gain experience, and after completing the required premium, you have access to blocked items.
