GNU Chess is a chess totally free game that offers several difficulty levels and configuration options.

You may select among different perspectives to visualize the board and the colors in it.

GNU Chess also allows determining the time the PC has to execute each movement, save games and even accommodate pieces all along the board to present some game or practice some checks.
