Having finished the file download, double click on it and it will immediately start Adobe After Effects installation. This screen will show that the process has been started.

In this program screen you will have the possibility of entering a serial number (1) or activating the trial version (2). After selecting the option of preference (with a click in the little circle), click “Next” (3).

Here you see the product license agreement. You can continue the installation process clicking “Accept” (1). If you wish to read the complete coverage that the use agreement of (Adobe After Effects) has, downloading it with the scroll bar (2).

In the following window you chose the utility language, the location of it (1) and also the applications that you will install (2). After finishing these tasks, click “Install” (3).

In this capture it is clearly shown the installation progress indicators of Adobe After Effects (1).

Once the installation process has finished, the program shows the following screen in which you can click “Exit” to close the window.

Now you run the program Adobe After Effects (usually within the start and program menu) and you will see a window like the following, in which you can chose between starting the trial mode (1) or entering the serial number (2).

To continue, click “Next” (3).

Then, you will see the welcome screen. You can observe a space where you will see the recently opened projects (1). You can also see the day suggestions (2) that can be changes with the control buttons (3). Also, you can use 4 of the most frequent used options (4). To deactivate this panel you only have to click and deactivate the verification box in “Show Welcome and suggest the daily start-up” (5).

In order to start a project, first you should import the video to which you like to apply all your creativity and the powerful tools of (Adobe After Effects). In order to do so, click “File”, “Import”, “File”. There it is opened the exploration box that you see below. In this window you can chose the file you wish (1) and then click “Open” (2).

Here you enter to the interface of (Adobe After Effects). In the upper part you will see a tool menu (1) very similar to that presented by other products of “Creative Suite 4” pack. In “Project” space (2) you will see the different elements that you will be importing and its properties. In “Composition” (3) you will see a window that shows the perform work and how it is finished. In the lower part there are a time line with the video name (4). On the right side there are tools floating menu (5), that are totally adjustable.
