[edit] Installation:

The installation process of this application is very simple, because it will start when you run the zip file from this utility, it will automatically open an initial window where you can see the following screenshot:

When you are this window, you should click on “Extract on”, that is placed on the upper left corner of the screen, once clicked you will see a sub-window where you should select the directory you whish to extract the files and components corresponding to the unit, after selecting them you should click on “Ok”. The creation of a folder with the application name in any hard disk unit is recommended and you should extract all the content on it.

Now, you should do double click on the directory where MAME has been extracted, you will see the following image.

As you can see on the above screenshots, you will se an application that does not need any installation, because in order to establish its right functioning, you only need to do double click on the executable file of it.

In order to start all the MAME options, you should double click on the icon that is highlighted in red on the above window, which is represented on the following shot:

On the above image, you will find graphic similitude with Windows Explorer, which makes the interaction with the application functions easier. In the section located at the centre of the application will automatically show all the ROMS from the games that has the same name.

In order to start the game, the user should run the game he/she wishes, so MAME will start the corresponding emulation of it. It is worth mentioning that they are independent and should be download separately.

On the left shot side, you can see the different filters that have been used for simplifying the ROMS list, which will allow you to localize easily all the games that you like. The most known and used by user in general are the following names: “All Available”, “Available Arcades”, “Consoles”, “Orientation”, “Manufacturer”, etc.

Once you have downloaded all the titles you wish, they should be located directly on the folder named "ROMS” which are on the directory where you have saved the MAME components.

In that way, when you run the application again, or simple select the option “Refresh” which is on the main interface of this utility, you will localize the desired game and start enjoying it on your PC.
