- Nero DiscSpeed** is one of the so many tools that make up Nero Toolkit package and is particularly designed for making some tests over some CD-ROM, DVD, BD and HD DVD optical units, providing you with data about the writing and reading speed, processor usage, verification function, CD/DVD (PI/PO, C1/C2, Jitter) quality tests, recording capacity and lots of general information about the disc.
You will notice that the application is very easy to use, since you just have to select the unit to test and set the tests according to your needs, being able to simulate the file recording at a particular speed and to access to each CD or DVD multiple data, such as manufacturer, disc type, storage capacity, and even whether it is protected or not.
**Nero DiscSpeed** can display graphics so that you can obtain a clearer visualization of the collected data, also offering other options oriented to the program customization that will define the background colors and the information that is shown in the statistics, for example, green states the CPU usage whereas blue indicates the buffer level, and so on.
