When installing a new Driver, it is advisable to remove the one functioning currently. This is because if you leave both drivers in the system, they would cause problems for the hardware user.

No matter which device you have (Web camera, scanner, printer, video board, sound card, etc.), the following is the process to be performed: download the controller, uninstall the hardware you are using, and lastly install the new one.
